For all you Knight Rider fans out there, KITT (Knight Industries Two Thousand) has returned in the form of a GPS unit being released in the next couple of months by Mio!
Complete with a Trans Am vehicle locator (the little car that shows you where you are), red LEDs on either side of the unit (go ahead, make that "wwwooobbb wwwooobbb" sound, you know you want to) and yes - the original voice of KITT by the one-and-only William Daniels which upon power-up actually says "Hello Michael, where do you want to go today?" (if your name isn't Michael, don't worry... you can change this).
Start growing out that chest hair now. Sorry, won't include leather pants, turbo boost or microwave jammers.
Features:
- 4.3” Touchscreen
- Preloaded map of U.S. and Canada plus over 4 million POI
- Turn-by-turn voice guidance featuring voice of K.I.T.T. (William Daniels)
- Knight Rider’s voice synthesizer lights move every time a navigation greeting, or a navigation voice instruction is given
- Voice greeting:
Ability for user to change name in greeting (KITT recorded voice files with 150+ male & 150+ female user-selectable names)
- Special GUI (Graphic User Interface) designed to simulate the K.I.T.T. experience
